Vintage Cream Feathered Hat. Â Adorning the hat and framing the face, feathers make a sophisticated statement on the day. It is a soft gauze skull cap hat that is artfully covered in feathers. Ladies wore feathered hats with tailored suits and day dress ensembles. Respectable folk loved feathers and fur, for it was a different era. We didn’t realize then that they looked better on the creatures that grew them in the first place. Still a beautiful hat…thank you, birdies for letting us wear your finery!
Very good vintage condition. A feather askew here and there to stroke in place.
Size fits many as a hair pin is required to hold the hat in place.
